Yet another Launch Fix found

Thought I'd share a fix that worked for me that I haven't seen mentioned here before.

I had troubles launching the game even with the dgvoodoo wrapper (Instructions here: https://www.pcgamingwiki.com/wiki/Sacrifice - files here: http://dege.freeweb.hu/dgVoodoo2/dgVoodoo2/ - copy the dll files from the x86 MS folder into your Sacrifice install, assuming you're on windows).

After doing the above, the only thing that works to get my game to launch, is to launch while my headset is not plugged in. After that I can plug my headset back in while in the game menu and I've got sound and the game runs perfectly (So far at least!). Every time I launch the game with the headset plugged in, I crash before the Shiny Entertainment logo shows up, or the launch freezes during the "loading....." screen. Every time i launch with the headset unplugged, it works.

I have no idea why this is the case as I found the fix by fluke of not having the headset plugged in the first time I tried to launch it, but hopefully this helps somebody else get their game going!

I found that the game doesnt work with a headset

This doesn't work for mine. My game still crashes on start up. Very rarely the game does actually start and I am able to play.

you are a lifesaver. none of the fixes worked until yours.
no need for compatibility mode
no need for vodooo tricks
just UNPLUG YOUR HEADSET and you are good to go. (RTX 3060TI)
