Length of the game?
Wondering how long this game is.

I completed the first play through in just under 2 hours.

Regardless, I think it was a great purchase. It is one of the best games I've played this year (and I play a lot of games). I will definitely be replaying it, enjoying every moment of it.

When you go to the movies, a movie often lasts around 2 hours as well. Does that mean there are no great movies out there? I think not.

It's fairly short - around 2 hours. The gameplay is dead-simple.

But this game is BEAUTIFUL. It's a joy to experience.

2 hours...this may be a contender for one of the shortest games I've even heard of. That said, it does seem like my kind of game, I'm just not sure I'm willing to pay $16 for such a brief experience.

Oh, good gravy. NOT 2 hours if you're at all curious and explore. Here:

Hint: Replay value + wanting to chill with the sea life = not rushing to the exit as if you just ate a bad taco.

I clocked just under 3 and a half hours according to Steam. Thats with taking it easy, exploring each area a little and taking about 30 screenshots.

Whilst that doesn't sound much I feel you get your monies worth with the experience and very high production value.

Visuals, atmosphere and music are top tier. Length aside, this feels much more 'AAA' than Indie.

To the games possible detrement though; with no multiplayer element (not suggesting it needs it) or plot twists/subversive game mechanics, it's easily possible to hold out for a price drop if that nagging feeling you've paid too much will spoil your enjoyment of the game.

Instantly defensive over a very neutral question. Methinks thou doth protest too much.

I was reading the other thread, where several were saying this game is terrible because it is 2 hours. Was just trying to present a counter argument here. Not being defensive towards the OP, it's an honest answer.

The game is about 2 hours long, at a medium paced playthrough. A lot of work has been put into the project and the effort shows.

I played 4 hours, but I pass some time to jump over the sea with my shark and some friends
