A few more points: The game is real-time and you can miss quests, so you're under a time pressure. You should check the controls in the settings menu because they're not explained in-game. Despite its name, Pathologic 2 is kind of a remake and much more polished than Classic HD. You may wish to check it out even if you don't play this one.
This game is a must try for people who want to explore video games and see something truly unique. You might love it. Or hate it. Check out Pathologic 2 either way. :D
Thanks for the insight
By the way, I hope you like games that are insanely complicated, kinda hard, kinda cryptic, kinda weird and that gives you barely any instructions.
Dont fear death, because you will die a lot.
That, and brown-red angels will kill you if you move
infact, its actually pretty easy once you understand how to play it.
It rarely holds player's hand and it's quite slow in its pace, so a lot of the initial experience goes against forming any remotely good impression of the game, but just let it simmer a bit (i.e. survive for a couple of days for a Bachelor character and let the plot / aesthetics or survival mechanics hook you up) and you won't notice yourself falling down the rabbit hole that is Pathologic's story that somehow, by the end of each in-game day, always keeps you intrigued for its next spin.
One good example of a 3 dimensional character is Aspity, She spreads misinformation and makes you go on a pointless goose chase so that a criminal you're hunting down could escape. To her she's simply saving a life, but to me.. she's a b**** and the game should have allowed us to kill characters, specifically her. Add in the fact that she lives at the far end of the town, she did that on f***ing purpose, she chose that house specifically to make me walk more than I should.
YOU WILL NOT HAVE GOOD WEAPONS
YOU WILL NOT HAVE ANTIBIOTICS
YOU WILL NOT ESCAPE ON THE TRAIN
YOU WILL NOT SAVE THANATICA
YOU WILL NOT MAKE A WORKING VACCINE

YOU WILL NEVER SEE WHAT THE CHILDREN IN THE POLYHEDRON SEE
YOU WILL NEVER BANG MARIA KAINA
AND YOU WILL BE HAPPY
