It doesn't run poorly for most people -- not a common complaint that I've seen, really.

As for the graphics, well, it was never meant to be a complete overhaul. It's and improvement, but it's still the game from 2005.

i 'm saying what ahppened on a Phenom 2 x4 965 Black edition , AMD 7950 3 Gb..which shoulkd run this game flawlessy..but it donesn't

I agree with indio, for the relatively minor graphical improvements the HD version has, it runs pretty badly compared to the original. My PC is well above the listed requirements and I still encounter stuttering in the warehouse districts and grass-heavy areas, or in larger NPC clusters (particularly arsonists and flamethrower soldiers). Nothing major, just mildly irritating at times.
