I tried with DoxBox and it actually works, although it is a bit unstable sometimes and the controls can be a bit fuzzy.

I can just see the scums going "this is nothing like fallout 3/NV hurr its terrible and hard" and the minority of us actually enjoying the game. Not that viable. Plus if any of the money goes to Bethesda that is a huge ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ 'no'.
did you use the steam version of fallout 2? Im trying to get it to run but im having no luck. I keep getting an error message. [ This program requires Windows 95 with Directx 3.0a or later or windows NT version 4.0 with Service Pack 3 or greater.]
Thing that would be even cooler and even more commercially nonviable is remaking Fallout 3, NV and 4 in Fallout 2 engine! This thing is also 100% certain to not be done ever!
And one more thing, that would probably be more commercially viable, but I can't see Bethesda do it, is remaking Fallout 1+2 in Creation Engine or even Creation Engine 2!
