But in seriousness here's the basics to get through the temple. First create a character with 10 agi, 9 if you play with the restoration patch because you can get a free statpoint in agi later. Your character build largely decides a chunk of how hard the game is, and agility determines action points which means how many things you can do per turn.
You can open the skills menu by pressing S. Each of the skills will then correlate to 1-8 hotkey.
Most character builds will get 2 turns before the enemy bug gets their second turn. Usually because the enemy will engage combat, you get a reacion turn and then the character with highest sequence goes first. If you start combat it will go: You, Enemy reaction turn, character sequence.
Punch every scorpion or ant twice then walk away repeat until they die.
This is will take a while but you should make it through the entire temple unscratched with exception of the final fight. At that point it's just a slug fest between you and the final dude.
If you want to talk your way through the final fight you need to pick speech.
If you can't beat him in a fight just save the game and steal the key from him unlock the door.
You can get some free cash in one of the village tents but there's largely no reason to do any of the village quests. Its better to just walk to klamath and start getting the game rolling. From there the game will start to get even harder unless you know the most meta gamed route to get loot and companions.
