Steam versions of Fallout 1/2/Tactics are DRM-free as well.
How do you figure?
The game is not "optimized" to run on newer sysytems. A simple look at their forums would tell you that. It would also be illegal to do under the terms of the Bethesda buyout.
The steam version contains the manual as well.

The soundtrack has been available for free for the last 3 years.
Fallout 1 crashed at the glow, Fallout 2 crashed when entering V13.
Now maybe you didn't actually play either game in 97 or 98, but guess what? They didn't crash on either of these things.
They did crash when planting live explosives on people, but that's another story.
The gog version is also based on the UK version of the game, which means they are censored.
No...This is what happens when you post inaccurate information on a public forum. People will politely correct you and educate you as to why you are wrong. If critisism is something you can't handle it would be best to stay off the forums.
