Fallout 2 and Sfall
So apparently Sfall comes with the base game. This mod supposedly took away the 13 year time limit. I know that I will probably never even reach it, but it is nice to know that I do not need to rush anything. Is that true? Or do I still need to edit some things to get rid of it?

You have to open ddraw.ini (located in Steam/steamapps/common/Fallout 2 where the executable is) with a text editor, then change the "Timelimit" part to -1 or -3. By default it's something this:

[Misc] ;Everything in this section only applies to fallout 2! ;Time limit in years. Must be between -3 and 13 ;Set to 0 if you want to die the instant you leave arroyo ;Set to -1 to remove the time limit, and automatically reset the date back to 2241 each time you would have reached it ;Set to -2 to remove the time limit without reseting the date. The game will lock up on 8th of March 2255 ;Set to -3 to remove the time limit, automatically reset the date, but override fallouts GetDate function to return the correct year TimeLimit=13
...A suggestion however, is to get the latest version from http://sourceforge.net/projects/sfall/ because the GOG and Steam versions don't include the later ones.
