You have to press the green triangle on your worldmap.

Don't worry about it, but it would've been funnier if you play(ed) with an Intelligence around 2! ^_^

I have to ask: how the heck did any of you not know anything of this? You can see this almost clearly in the manual from page 61!
World Map Movement
To move around the world, move your cursor over your intended destination and click. Your character will begin moving there immediately. Movement is not instantaneous and may take days or weeks of game time.

As you explore, darkened areas of the world map will be revealed. You can also use the location list to select a previously visited location to head for. When you reach your destination, a green triangle will appear. Click on the triangle to enter that location. You can always click on a new destination, if you want to keep exploring. The world of the wasteland is a difficult place to travel in. You have two obstacles -- terrain and random encounters.

who reads the manual?

Calm down Benny, it's not the end of the world if someone doesn't read the manual.

Even though Fallout 1 & 2 has some cool ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ manuals.

Well, anyone who tries to play a complicated videogame that focuses on advanced strategy. Ultima and Wasteland are prime examples.… Another one would be in cases of copy protection.

Except if you had read it you wouldn't need my help, 'cause you already picked up the prior knowledge.

Obviously, but your confrontational attitude is completely uncalled for.

Yes it was, and I take it back. I have only limited patience for questions like this one: it's kinda stupid. I happen to have tried clicking the green triangle when I got to my first town in Fallout 1, I'd probably have tried that even if I never bothered to look it up…?

No harm, no foul. I guess we all get a little agitated from time to time.
