That damned dog
Is there ANY way to get rid of the jinxed dog?

No, the one from a random encounter. The way you express in infurating, are you 10?

OP, you're gonna have to slowly kill the dog. He has 750 HP, so it'll take a while.

Start with injuring it's leg(s) so it won't run too far each time.

If you have access to the S.A.D. and dont mind lossing 1000 Karma you can use the brain extracter to kill it and get 2 human brains in the process, Or you can shoot it... a lot. :tdealwithit:

If I could decide for you, I'd blast away on the dang pooch's limbs first (indeed) and then start disposing of it before it even gets to "join". There's a small reward in that because of the odd scripting.

Yep just shoot the crap out of it. I ran into in my most recent playthrough i just unloaded on it with the PPK12 took 12 shots to the eyes, plus a few bursts from marcus's mini gun. crazy thing.

I beet my pooch to death. Took forever but I cornered it in the Maltese falcon (I saw dogmeat and I knew what I had to do) and beat the crap out of it. Took about 30 mins of non stop beating but I did it.

Btw you might wanna enter into wrestling before killing it. I found if I just ran in circles the other boxer critically missed, it would count as a KO.
