Gecko Reactor: How to trigger conversation with Enclave communications officer???

I have already fixed the reactor via Mr. Handy. From the videos I saw, you are supposed to use the terminal, then "Initiate general maintenance sequence">"Load current service procedure">"download">etc The "Download" option never shows up for me, so I can't make it past that point. I am not awere of any science or speech requirements if there are any. I just want know how the hell I trigger this encounter, aswell as manipulate the officer into giving away the locations of Camp Navarro and the Oil Rig. I know thats possible.

Unfortunately, you can't get to the communication if you enter the repair sequence. I understand your sadness about not being able to back out after fixing the power plant.

It's possible to manually add that in, though, but then you have to decompile the terminal's script file and re-compile it after adding programming to link the "conversation" to the communication.

Well I'm not exactly "The sharpest crayon in the shed" (intended error) so I probobly can't do that. Lets say I loaded a save before I interacted with the terminal entirely, what stats would I need and what would I have to do to bring up the convorsation?

I don't know for sure, but my experience says to try the "general sequence"… and then pick the option for "other stations", I'll leave it up to you there.
