Track Down Pretty Boy Floyd

Is it possible to complete the quest without killing Floyd & get the next quest from Mr Salvatore? (Im trying to avoid killing "innocent" people)

On wiki it says If Lloyd had been spared, he "may" state he knows he has not been dealt with and he will then hit an alarm. (Mr Salva says this)

But every time I try lying to Mr Salvatore he knows Im lying.

Doing missions for mobsters might not be a good choice of route if you want to role-play a good character - and Lloyd is not exactly "innocent" as he's a card shark and got the cash by cheating.

Salvatore will always know if you try to lie to him about killing Pretty Boy. Probably had you followed as a test for a new muscle.
