Is Fallout 1 and 2 funny ?

I recently purchase fallout 1 and 2 and i need to know if is great at all. Tell me your opinions please.

Yea. It has the same style of humor that 3 and new vegas do. Lots of pop culture ond tongue in cheek laughs

Fallout 1 &2 in my opinion are the best games in the series, the style of play is different to what you may be used to in fallout 3, but the humour is still there and the fun you can have whilst playing the game is memorable.

Sir Tricky is right. They're top-down clicky clicky games. Real old school PC flavor stuff. I personally love them. Like a post apocalyptic Baldur's Gate or Icewind Dale. While Fallout 3 and Fallout: New Vegas are awesome, these came out in a time before things like childkilling were banned from games. I bought all five games for $2.49 apiece last night in a midnight sale--BEST PURCHASE ON STEAM to date. I spent at least two hours playing the first installment until almost 5am!

Me to Bulite , i bought all for 2.49 thx to the Quakecon, and i really like them. The humor of the 80' and 70' are 2 funny. Thanks for answer me. ( I love RPG games and thats why i bought them)

Glad to hear you have purchased them, you will not regret them, the games do take a bit of getting used to but are one of the first games i ever played on the pc as a kid (played fallout 1 to the point where the disc exploded in my computer).

I had totally forgotten about the option to print your character sheet being on the character interface. I used to print them out and bring them to school to brag to my friends who were playing it also. Conceited? Nay. Overly-proud, nerdy kid? Yes.

A low INT run is very funny at times.

Buy into high INT early! Let tanks/muscle/orcs do the laborous duties.That's as staple an RPG rule as "Follow the Left Wall".

the high INT is a rule but i always found it funny to pick the best (or worst) stats and see how long i could last with my character.

I have complete the new generation of Fallout (New Vegas and Fallout 3) before i play the classic fallout games and there is a big difference, a lot. In Fallout 1 i think i'm in the game environment but the new version of this games tried to be more funny. Its what i think at all.

Try killing a kid in FO1 (or is it 2?) and look at the "Child Killer" rep card. And the "Porn Star" card is hilarious as well. Or you could just Google it.
