Oh and I'm new to Fallout 2
Does that mean it's active?
Aw damn, there is no rock next to Klint that says "Welcome to the RP" :(
How does it make the game more difficult? Do you mean random encounters or side quests or main quest?
In Fallout 1, I was pretty confident I could take on any situation that I ran across. I could shoot my way through anything. This game, I play way more cautiously. I recommend picking up Sulik. He is so OP.

You should be good with that and a strong melee companion.
