Assault rifle (AK-112) or H&K MP9 10mm SMG which one is better?

Just started playing fallout 2 after very long time and now this dilema hit which one of these weapons to use?

I mean in damage and range assault rifle seems better. But SMG has larger burst and it's ammo can be found almost every where while the assault rifle ammo seem rarer.

So in total which one would you recommend and why that weapon.

Burst fire is a waste of ammo unless it`s a Minigun or Bozar - aim in the eyes!
AK can be modified - larger mag. But if the deal is about 10mm caliber then wait for H&K P90c.

lies have you used the P90c on burst? of the G11? or even the FNAL?

neither. UNLESS you get the extended mag for the AR then its alright

I ain't told it's useless - I told its a waste of ammo. A single crit in the eyes can deal more damage than burst.

^psh who uses vats? i use the fast hand. so much better late game. i mean 3 ap for bust? doesnt get better then that.

and its not a wast of ammo at all
