Starting game requires CD

So I just installed Fallout 2 retail (non steam game). When it finished I went to the BlackIsle Files and clicked the Fallout 2 game application (as told). But this popped up "Requires CD to start Fallout 2", and I had the CD inside all the time. I even tried starting the game through AUTO RUN from the actual CD, and the same thing popped up again!!! I didn´t had this problem with Fallout 1 retail. Can someone help me?

Did you do a "humungous" install?

I used the original CD too, and after installing the restoration project I was able to play without the CD in.

I already solved the problem. Just needed to download a Fallout 2 patch from "Mutants Not Allowed" website. Thanks anyway :)
