Any timed quests?
Are there quests in Fallout 2 that, like Fallout 1 before it, fail if you don't complete them by a certain day? Cause the main thing I didn't like about Fallout 1 is that you basically had to bum rush the water chip before anything else in the game besides Shady Sands.

There is a 13 year doomsday limit or something. I think one of the patches disables it. Maybe someone will elaborate as I'm going senile. I agree about the timed thing in the first one. After I got the chip back I didn't have the second talk with the Overseer and went out and explored some more lol...just in case.

So it's just a matter of editing the ddraw.ini file, with one or both of these.

Some side quests have time limits though the timer starts only after you started the quest.
