Ok, weapon choice

So, i got the CAWS off a raider vs vault city guards event, but i dont know how good it is. Should i sell it for a hunting rifle, or is it really good?

The CAWS is a pretty accurate shotgun, though if you want the hunting rifle it should be found for free in random encounters.

That hunting rifle could be useful later...

Spend points on Small guns and use Gauss weaponry. Win. You can find them in the guns store in San Francisco. Ammo can be found on the same store or the weapon merchant outside of NCR.

CAWS is ok, i guess. 2nd best shotgun in the game, losing vs pancor jackhammer.
