[Fallout Nevada] How do i get access to Homey airport and is it worth going through the pain to explore it for the loot?

Where is it ? Im only at Salt Lake City

It's north west of las vegas , but if you go there , you can't get to the location , because you need someone to mark it on your map. google the fallout nevada map on google and you'll see what i mean

I thought I cleared Las Vegas, after the Pizza deliveries, boxing quest and the detective work. I even got a Power Armor right now lmao
Can you give a hint on who gives the location ?

Don't know , but i do know that you have to do some stuff at the Wind-War to get it marked on your map. The other is to help some caravans in las vegas or something like that.

Oooooh you mean Area 51, already cleared that and yes the loot is worth going through the hords of Aliens.

Just shoot them in the head to make them unconcious first then shoot the eyes for more accuracy, there is also various ways to clear them out without firing a shot if you have a high science and repair (but ist on the level 2 of the base) or another way with high lockpick and perception it involve finding 3 gas canister and putting them into a ventilation system next to where you find a science helmet (very important stuff btw).
You can also find a Stealth Boy in the lower levels that help you sneak past these aliens better (you can also use it for the rest of the game to cheese it).
Remember to use traps and mines if they are too strong. They are weak to fire and laser damage if you have the skills, if you take too much damage there is a tire armor you can find in Las Vegas that give a lot of physical protection combine this with a Psycho and you will be good.

Sorry, I didnt know about the real name, in game everyone say Area 51.

Im pretty sure I either got it from the main story with one of the bikers named Jay Kulling (I think or along those lines), when you first meet him at the end of his conversation, he told me to go to Area 51 for more info on some plot stuff that I wont spoil.
Or I got it from a computer in the Wind of War (the one with the radio com) that has some additional info, you should have normally 75 or 80% in science to completely hack it and get all the info from it including the secret base in the Wind of War.

I've done some research for you and I found additional places where you can find the location of Area 51, both of them are at Las Vegas. You will see 4 caravaneers at the entrance of Las Vegas, 2 of them are injured and two of them argue each other. If you help them you can get the location.
If you also found the daughter of the archivist in Las Vegas he will let you use his computer with all his info and a location about Area 51.
