Jonny wont go home

So I finally made it to modoc and decided to do the slag quest. after going over and talking to the slags they tell me to tell modoc they want a truce, I then check the bodies with high enough perception and leave. I went and told modoc about the message and the bodies. After that they sent me to the den to find karl. Found karl, came back within the month and told him, he then told me to tell karl. I told karl and came back to tell him. He thanks me and now I need to go talk to the slags, I talked to them and finished it. After that I headed back to modoc to do the quest for jonny. I talked to jonny beforehand and even grabbed his gun. Go talk to his dad and I get the option to say that jonny was with the slags and that he had to wait until I resolved the problems between modoc and the slags. But the problem is that I already finished the quest to unite them. So now I cant get the quest to activate to save jonny and because of that when I talk to the father again he just says the same stuff with the same dialogue. And when I go talk to jonny I can only offer candy like a pedophile. I even went to the slags boss and he just says thank you for saving them. What is happening and is there any way to fix it?

The quests for Jonny and uncovering the mystery about the Ghost Farm seem to be linked; if the quest for the Ghost Farm is finished without bringing Jonny home, then it seems he will have to remain there.

It's been a while, but I think I had to talk to the leader of slags who said he'll send some people to escort Jonny home

Before you finish the ghost farm mystery, the slag leader says he doesn't trust you or something like that. After the quest is resolved you should have dialog with the slag leader, he will let you take Jonny home. The kid and Slag leader are the only people you need to speak with to resolve the quest both before you finish the Ghost Farm Myster and after.

After recieving the quest, you technically never have to talk to the father again and I think it's bugged if you do. Because once I talked to the dad for some reason it bugged out and showed me Jonny's dialog. I finish this quest all the time without showing him the BB gun from the well.

Your supposed to show him the gun then go find Johnny then ask the leader of the slags if he can go and then go back to balathar or whatever his name is
