how to install Fallout 2 restoration project

how do i install fallout 2 restoration project? there are no videos on youtube of it and i can't find any guides on how to install it for steam.

install it, drag it into your steamapps/common/fallout2 folder and extract it
and run application

copy all files from zip/rar archive and paste it into .../*folder of game*/. then rename .exe to Fallout2Launcher.exe

Whenever i try to run it, My computer will ask if its ok for it to make changes to my device, if I click no then it just deletes it. So is it safe to say yes, since it appears it only works if I allow it to.

why wouldnt you click yes when you are making changes, thats what the mod is for

as you should be, but your anti virus will catch anything for the most part, and nexus is a reliable website

which ones do you have, i dont have fallout2 installed rn

it might just be the actual fallout2 exe, as long as you patched it and added in the patch
