Mouse Cursor LAG in Linux

This may be a long shot because I see several people have the same issue and no one has a straight solution.

The mouse CURSOR lags a lot in the main menu. Lag as in when you run out of RAM and you go into swap memory and eveyrthing is choppy (not the case here)

I think I need to configure it to use only 1 core maybe or something like that but Im not sure where to make that change.

Anyone has a suggestion?
