WHAT? that doesn't make any sense though, Criticism (correct criticism) is essential for improvements on mods! If I was making a big mod like megamod I would've love to fix these issues! Megamod is AMAZING but it really needs to fix it's bugs.
Makes sense, but I think those issues can be improved upon or avoided at least, to a minimal
Sorry for the super late response but, as far as megamod goes I would suggest going on NMA (No mutants allowed) they're really good and provide updates to help fix the mod. Let me actually help you now, it sounds like your complicating the process or may even have an earlier version of the mod installed. Let me ask, what Version of Megamod are you using? I have version 2.47.5 And the install process is simple. This is what I do. I first install fallout 2 clean. Once installed, I take my fallout 2 folder from the steam installation folder and put it in my games folder in my documents tab on my local c disk drive. Once, I do that, I THEN install megamod version 2.47.5 and the install directory goes into my same fallout 2 folder it's inside the fallout 2 folder. Once, I do that, then I even install more mods but in the fallout 2 to fallout megamod folder. Ask me more questions if you need any. Also, create an account on no mutants allowed it really helps.
Took hours to get through the temple due to bugs. Between the final guard having errors for dialogue, and the game crashing when I steal the key off him. Eventually, relocating the files and trying a different approach got me through to the village of Arroyo.
Where I got a loop on the elder's dialogue. Then "Memory cannot be written" the first time I move to another area.
Several NPCs have had their name changed to Error. And none of the quest NPCs can be talked to.
It's taken hours just to reach this point.
If wrestling with bug after bug is what I have to look forward to, then this mods going to have to be a hard pass for me.
