Does it suck? Should I save up for a better gun?

Probably one of the worst guns in the game (if not the worst). Has to be reloaded for every shot and also very heavy for a small gun. Nearly worthless in terms of value. Best to get rid of the pipe gun as soon as possible.

No problem. If you explore for a bit, you can find better guns pretty easily.

The 10mm pistol uses the same ammunition but gives you more shots before you need to reload and more damage output. You should be able to find one pretty early into the game. Perhaps even in a chest in Klamath or Arroyo if I remember correctly.

Thanks, pretty much paid off that slaver and did that quest where lara and her gang take over the other guards. Got a Desert Eagle and plenty of ammo for one of the 10mm I picked up.
