Cassidy won't equip ANY ranged weapon
First off, he used to equip any weapon I threw at him, but all of a sudden he refuses to. He used to shoot from his H and K CAWS but now he does not even equip it. He is set to ranged then mellee, is healthy (80/80 HP, took him to a doc). I have no idea what to do and once again I think I'm dealing with another bug. He only will equip the spear.

Have you tried to use your own doctor skill at him? It's possible he has crippled limb and is unable to use weapons that need 2 hand to use and I don't trust town doctors to see crippled arms on your companions if they are already healthy. If you have awarness perk you can see if Cassidy has broken his arm just by using a "binocular" action at him.
