My turbo plasma rifle disappeared from my inventory.

I was looking for cats paws to upgrade my energy weapons skill, I went to Klamath, The den, Vault city, and gecko, when I got to vault 15 to look for more, I noticed the plasma rifle was gone. I know that kids in the den can steal items to give to tubby or flick, but when I checked them, neither of them had it. Any ideas of where it could be or where I can find another normal plasma rifle? The one I got was from Sierra army depot and the one in Navarro is gone too.

You can upgrade every regular plasma rifle to turbo for free if you talk to the old guy in the basement of the weapon shop in new Reno. You gotta go in through the back door during the day time though otherwise the main owner will shoot at you.

Any upgradable guns can be upgraded there for free

Unfortunately I can't help you with the missing rifle. Never had that happen to me

Maybe you dropped it during combat and forgot to pick it up.
