I haven't played Fallout 1. And the starting locations were about tents and shacks. I was shocked when I saw the crashed high-tech vertibird and a robot nearby.

The most memorable moments are from those days when I couldn't run Fallout 2 on my PC and had to go to my friend's house almost every day after school to mostly watch how he plays.. His brother was a programmer so they got a good PC (Pentium II CPU as far as I remember). We both didnt know how to play it and we hadn't got DSL modems to read some tips on chats or forums so we had to manage everything without other's help. And it was amazing ;)
