What should I do about the resolution?
So I have the reolution patch to make it a bunch of HD resolutions, but are those supposed to make everything on the screen tiny as an ant? I can't see crap and I can't read crap, but then if I go lower it gets all gross or blurry. Am I supposed to be stuck with the choices of "too blurry" and "too small"?

The original default resolution is 640x480. All the higher resolutions do is show more of the area's map on screen, thus making everything smaller. Also try differnt settings in f2_res_Config.exe if it's blurry. Also I think the movies look better with no scaling.

High-res patches on 2D graphics are nonsense.

Sure, if you like stupidly tiny sprites, far from anything the authors intended. Same with the visible area.

Oh right, but it still looks better and I'd rather be able to change the resolution. I know what you mean though sometimes it definately doesn't look right and is too small maybe for a large screen. I was gonna come back to this thread and say that yeah, just saying it's nice to be able to have it.

I am finding it difficult to play the game in 1920x1080 though, lol, but sometimes it doesn't seem too bad for me, idk.
I think I'll have to try the next few lower settings in the same aspect ratio, but it deteriorates the quality of the menus.

Well, finding what you like most is the only thing that matters :S

It isn't that bad sometimes, I don't mind it usually. I'd rather not play the game in its default resolution. :3

Lol yeah no thanks, isn't gonna happen regardless of how nostalgic I feel. The screen I played the game on so many years ago complimented it, it definately is not the same.

How do you get a high resolution patch for the game?

The patch is already included, though not the latest one.

Playing it at 1024x768 and a bit above should look ok.
