is light support weapon better than minigun?

From the stats wise the light support weapon mages more damage. Is this true or am i missing something.

Not exactly, the minigun consumes ammo 4x faster and because of It's low 7-11 dmg per shot the LSW with 20-30 base dmg is much better against medium and heavy armor, but worse agaainst light armor because of inferior fire rate.

Minigun = best vs no or low armor
LSW = best vs medium and heavy armor
