Does Fallout 1 and 2 work with a controller?
Anyone know if you can play this with a controller I tried xpadder but that didn't work. Please no idiots saying the mouse and keyboard is better.

It isn't the type of game you can play with a controller. I guess if you mapped the mouse to the sticks and certain keys to the buttons it would work...

In this case it's not about it being better or not, it's just plain idiotic.

I mapped my mouse and keybord buttons to my controller using xPadder -- Works perfectly fine for me. -- What seems to be the problem with using xPadder?

Do you know guys if this is possible with the Steam Controller, and if so, have anyone tried it? Is it worth it?

Playing Fallout 1 and 2 with a controller would be the equivalent of castration

Good luck picking stuff off the ground that has only a few pixels showing because the body or blood pool is obscuring 99% of it with a controler stick. Your also going to want to use the number keys when buying something because pressing the right or left arrow for each cap will take a while with things costing around 10k+ caps.

Though fallout 2 does have a mod where you can just have your character or party members autoloot things around with a hotkey combo.
