Is the Charisma stat as useless as people say it is?
I've heard people saying that the Charisma stat in Fallout 1 is terrible and not worth putting many points into. I just wanna ask if the stat is really that bad in Fallout 1.

Yes but only in Fallout 1. In 2 it determines your potential party size.

Yes, the only thing it does is give a slight skill bonus to your CHR based skills. Which you can just put more stats into intelligence and get more skill points per level.
So the only time setting it to absolute minimum becomes a issue is when you acquire some in game debuff which lowers a stat. Since when any stat is reduced to 0 you die.

Didnt even thought it was charisma oriented

I strongly disagree. For "winning" the game, yeah, Charisma is a dump stat in FO1. But without a good CHR paired with a good INT, you miss the very best dialog and clever ♥♥♥♥ in the game.
