And nope. If you don't have an earlier save to revert to, You're pretty much ♥♥♥♥♥♥ :/
I keep a lot of saved games but I often notice when you reload a game it actually makes it worst, like blocking you between field barriers that never comes down, triggering a random hostility with a nearby NPC etc... I seriously did not remember the game was this broken during its time.
OP: Either your companion thought Killian was suddenly a foe, or Killian friendly-fired 'im and caused an infighting. That's what happens in FO1 because the NPCs following you through the game were just made, thus are also hard to control. Get used to it like I did.
Besides, press the Enter key to forcibly exit combat.
