Think vendors restock cash daily but never restock actual goods.

Certain traders will have a fixed ammount of caps in their inventory. If after transaction this ammount is lower or higher than starting number, it will reset to that number once you talk to the trader again. Those traders are:
Weapon dealers Beth (>1500) and Jake (>2000);
All-in-one store owner (???);
Mrs. Stappleton the librarian (524).
Zack of the Gun Runners (>3000).
Other dealers (Killian, Vince, Tine) do not repelish their caps ammount. No idea about COC Shopkeeper.

Thanks

Killian seems to replenish on leaving and re-entering the cell but not the full 2000 caps amount, just a small amount around 100.

They all seem to replenish way less than they start with. Any work around to this?

Why do you need caps ? Game is pretty generous already, and if you want a specific item there are tons of ways of getting it without paying it.

Implants are expensive.

Can you elaborate? As i wrote earlier, the number of caps in the inventory of traders resets to a certain number (with slight deviations) each time you start conversation with them. If we take Jake, the weapon dealer from Hub, for example, each time you talk to him and initiate barter, he will have around 2000-2500 caps. What exactly do you mean when you say traders have way less caps than they start with?

I have fixit, so that could be ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ with this but as far as I am aware it's mostly bug fixes and QoL changes.

What I mean is that their caps don't seem to reset each time for me. Take Jake as an example, I sell stuff to him, close the dialogue, open it again, and his caps are the same, or if they did reset it's less than 1000 caps, it doesn't reset to that 2000-2500 number every time.

Leaving old town (because I can't wait there), waiting a day, and going back seems to make him restock the proper amount.

Well if you don't want to nickle and dime shop owners you can always use gambling.

Put points into gambling until you reach a point you win more often then you loose. Then just hold down the 1 with a slightly heavy object on the keyboard to bet 5 dollars, tell dealer you want to bet again, bet 5 dollars, repeat. Walk away come back when you have a huge pile of cash.

It will not work with any other bet amount because the dealer asks you if you want to play again pressing 1 will say yes, pressing 2 will say no, holding down any of the other bet keys will not answer his question at all.

It takes 60% gambling to start winning more than loosing, but around 90%-100% if you don't want to be there all day to make a profit.

Maybe some script isn't working correctly because of this mod or it was intentional change. Hmm, now that i think of it, how do you initialize barter? Through dialog or by pressing dedicated button? I think that too can influence stock. It's pretty far fetched, but at that point i'm out of ideas where the problem can be.

Yeah I'm assuming it's maybe an intentional change by the mod that you have to wait for them to restock. I usually initiate it through the dialogue for proper merchants.
