Failure Initializing Input Devices

So this was totally my mistake...
Ive set the resolution to max (something 3kX2k)
I tried uninstalling and installing again but same issue - idk how to wipe the memory of my previous settings.
Any idea how to fix this, please?

Open game folder (right click game in your library - properties - installed files - browse), there is a file there named f1_res_Config - open it. It allows you to change display settings. Probably just resetting resolution to something reasonable should fix your issue. By the way - it's recommended to lower resolution 2-3 steps below your native res, so that interface looks good on modern monitors (scaling option is terrible, at least for me on FullHD).

I did instal high res graphics patch but realized this already came with the game and didnt help. Ill try setting it lower, because i really cant see all that small font

I had the same problem what I did was verify game files (nada), uninstall, (nada), and what finally worked was uninstall, restart my laptop and then redownload, verify game files and boot up the game, and off to find the water chip I went. (first playthrough after having it for years I finally figured out the mechanics LOL.).
