This one has the best story

Im not hating here at all but after completing fallout 4 i'd have to say fallout 1 still has the best story out of all them.

Fallout 2 is similar to fallout 1's story (quality wise) but the major problem i had was that you could only kill frank horrigan, couldnt talk him out of it like the master. Also i wasnt too fond of all the fourth wall breaks in the story. Made me feel like i was playing a parody of fallout 1 at certain points.

Fallout 3's story is very personal compared to fallout 1 & 2's world-saving stories. It's narrative of finding your dad was fine, and i did like the final battle until you encounter colonel autumn. Although i like how you could persuade him to back off unlike frank in fallout 2, but he wasnt that good of a antagonist too really feel why he did what he did unlike the master.

New Vegas had a pretty simple story, find the man who shot you, then join a faction to take control over new vegas. I feel like the backstory was really good though, and the characters and major quests make up for a more adventurous tale then fallout 3 story.

The story of Fallout 4 was basically fallout 3's except now your finding your son. I didnt think the story was bad, just i wanted something a little more fresh. I do really like the quest when you go through kelloggs's memories, brought back alot of memories from fallout 2. The ending stunk though i hated how there was no slideshow of all the places i helped.

What are your thoughts on the stories?

Frank horrigan is some kind of monster you cant persuade him also you can convience enclave soldiers to help you i like this part(there would be ending about soldiers did they escape rig or died?)Wall breaks is not that bad just ignore them if you dont like
Fallout 3 is lack of quest very short game
4? Dont talk about 4 imo

Fallout 1 has arguably the best story that any game has ever had. Mostly setting wise, but that's why the Fallout movie treatment was so good. Fallout 1 is book/movie worthy. Fallout 2 is good but not as good as 1. Fallout 3 is a straight up copy/paste of F1 and 2's story (vault dweller meets Enclave). Almost no originality. Fallout 4 is just more ADD ♥♥♥♥ piled onto the Fallout 3 universe.

I have obviously been playing too much Crusader Kings.

They need to make that Fallout movie, it would be epic and a whole lot better than all those other ADD post-apoc movies like Book of Eli.

Obsidian probably won't be getting a shot at the fallout franchise again, unfortunately.
If you consider yourself a fan of the original fallout series, then I recommend keeping up with Van Buren, or playing fallout 1.5. Either way, I doubt a movie of Fallout will ever be happening, although it has potential.
