How high lockpick skill do i need to get into Lost hills Bunker

I have a electronic lockpick already.
Im wanting power armor for my low INT char. The brotherhood wont let me join because im too stupid so i killed the two guards and am trying to get in to kill my way to the storeroom for PA

Apparently the modifier with an electronic lockpick is -50 so anything higher than 50 and a bit of luck should get you in.

They're punks, especially with a Tesla Armor.

I have never heard of Tesla armor. I have been having a hard time trying to grind levels for lockpick. I only get 4 skillpoints per level due to taking gifted with a low INT character and didnt Tag lockpicking. This run didnt go how i planned but its been fun.

Gifted and low intelligence thats a bad mix lol, so what you actually do deal with them its to have loads of plasma grenades and good firepower (Rocket Launchers, Plasma Rifle, Power Fist + Super Sledge and .233 Pistol), and either a Tesla Armor (in the cathedral) or a BoS Combat Armor.
If not, prepare yourself for a hard fight, BUT be smart when you fight try to kite them in a corner and make them use all their AP or let them shoot faraway enough so they can miss every burst attacks from their gatling lasers.

I needed 70 Lockpick and a electronic pick to get in. Maybe it can be done with lower but it took lots of tries and savescumming even with 70.

why not just get the Ancient Brotherhood disk from the Glow and then take mentats before you talk to Cabot for the first time. Ask to join, then talk to him again and give him the disk. Then he will open the door and you won't have to fight anyone. You may need to take mentats in order to get Power Armor for rescuing the initiate from the Hub if you have enough positive reputation.

I made a save after getting the disk and already talked to him W low INT so Cabot wouldnt talk to me anymore even after taking mentats. I would have had to restart the whole game, I got in w lockpick and sneak killed my way to the power armor sets so all good now.
