holodisk doesn't work

I bought the holodisk from the library lady and used it and it said I gained 100xp from it and that it was downloaded so I went to look for it in my status screen on the pit boy and couldn't find anything related to it just the locations I've been to. I'm confused does all it do is just give you xp in the old games or does the holodisk have actual info?

Pretty sure it marks the location of Bakersfeild on your map, but the city is now called Necropolis.
