Should I use Fallout Fixt for my first playthrough ?

I recently got this game and was wondering if I should use the Fixt mod or just play vanilla.

I recommend it, but you should customize it in the download options. Get the better resolution mod, Improved Companions mod etc., but not something that changes the gameplay drastically, like Mutant Invasions. Plus, if you don't feel like being under pressure, I recommend changing the time for you to get the WaterChip.

Better resolution mod is included in Fixt full version. No need for a separate download. There are some custom settings that I would recommend, so select the custom install. Vanilla only lets you get one operation for each stat. Fixt allows for as many as you want to set using a custom install (given the time and wealth constraints, it doesn't help to go overboard with this) and allows for Charisma operations, which the vanilla doesn't. You also have a much better trade ratio with Fixt, right from the start, as well as MANY more skill books at the library, with regular replacements (although there is enough there to go from 20 to 90 right from the start, so replacements aren't necessary).

The GUI is much improved, even simple things like running and opening doors, picking up items and managing inventory can be annoying in vanilla, and is more streamlined with Fixt. All in all it is a better game with Fixt.
