How to use the FALCHE Save editor for Fallout 1

So I went through several forums looking for a way to edit my saves when I cam across a post by "Cmrtnll" where he stated that for those trying to use FALCHE to set the path to the MAIN Fallout folder and not the save folders.

In other words: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Fallout
or where ever you put the game.

Not this: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Fallout\DATA\SAVEGAME

Edit: It also works for F12se. Just use the same pathing as FALCHE.
In other words: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Fallout

I tried it with both and it works like a charm.

Anyway, you could use a game save editor. I use FALCHE for whenever I feel like doing a cheated run. You can download it at (nma-fallout.com), just click on Downloads - > Fallout 1 -> Cheats and Editors, and you should find it.

Once I get it loaded in and can see my save file in the middle box and hit open nothing happens, any tips?

Didn't quite work for me. I dropped my INT by one and moved it into PER to fix an error at character creation, but when I reached level 9 I wasn't offered Better Criticals. I double checked that I met or exceeded the requirements and still nothing.

Click on the save 01 button not the name
