Fallout Fixit - The Mod you never knew you needed

Fallout 1 does not have a lot of mod support. Or at least most of it does not work. Mind you, on Steam - unless they fixed it - there are no children. I am sure the Child Patch is still around as well as a buffed GCD (Character files) maxed out.

The Fallout Fixit mod patch fixes just about everything wrong with Fallout and adds some much missed and needed content. If you need some more feeling in an old game, go to the good people at NMA (No Mutants Allowed) link provided. Fallout 1 is dated yes, especially in a world of quest trails pretty much being made for you. This is where it begins and why not enjoy it to the fullest.

I try to pass on the good word. Fallout 1 was perhaps the first real PC game I owned when I was living overseas. I played it so many times, I don't think Steam could have kept count and worn out three CDs. Its dated, but it is unique

If only it fixed the horrendous crashes in Mariposa and under the Cathedral... I don't know, maybe it's because I installed the version with extra content - gonna try a purist version next.

I think they both add the ability to find the Follower's Traitor.

Bumping this thread because even today in 2024, this game is great, and Fallout Fixt is the version to use.
