"Stats must be 1 - 10 before playing"

So I've been planning my first run on FO 1 and planned a character for roleplay etc. but when I'm satisfied with what I chose, the game tells me that all my stats must be between 1 - 10. Thats all well and good but I the only thing that is 0% is my dmg rest. and I can't, for the life of me, figure out what i can changed.

I maxed END, STR, and played with everything but that dmg rest just won't change. Is this a bug, a ghost, a vault tech experiment, or does bethesda just want me to only play their newer fallout games.

Oooook, so I figured it out. The game says all stats mush be 1 - 10, but they're refering to the SPECIAL stats. :B

well my problem wasn' that I set one of my special stats to 0, it was that one of my stats (agillity) went over 10 after I added the gifted perk; so basically the game was telling me "hey, you're not a cheetah."

Well? Will you continue playing then? Use up all the SPECIAL points and get to it!

Also, Gifted is a trait, not a perk. Big difference between the two in that traits have a downside to balance the pro out!

Last I checked you could hex edit your stats to zero in character creation, the game seems to interpret them as being one.

adding to the 0 perception no nose no ears no tongue and no nerves to even feel something touch your skin
