Just started Fallout 1
I have 40 hours in Fallout 2 and I can highlight objects with "shift". But this doesn't work in fallout 1 somehow. Can someone tell me how to highlight objects in fallout 1?

If thats not possible, do I have to keep an eye out for every pixel because sometimes there is randomly ammo on the ground sometimes :D

late reply but in fallout 1 you cannot highlight objects automatically. In the options you can turn on highlight objects but it will only outline them in yellow if you scroll over them with your mouse. From what other people have said you dont really miss much from stuff just laying on the ground.

ok thx I'm fine aheead in the game already. I found that solving the quest for Gunrunners gave me the best equip choices (sniper and solid armor).

Edit: And I am not at the end of the game. It's just nice to have at ~middle of game

The Fallout 1 version of SFall reintroduces the item highlighting feature. You'll have to manually enable the setting in the INI though.
