Fallout 1 FIX - Black Screen Solution ! Windows 10

If you play on WINDOWS 10 ... Go on your computer and navigate to the game launcher of the game wich filename = FalloutLauncher.exe

Change the compatibillity to WINDOWS 7 and the game will run on WINDOWS 10.

Still not working ????

Then you should do this in discription below.

--> Go to the Folder where Fallout is installed .. Find this file " f1_res_Config"

--> If you double click that file then you change DirextX 9 to DirectDraw 7 and click
"Done" Button ..

Go to map Steam and then to SteamApps then you click on the map Common then you click on the map Fallout.

In that map you see this file: FalloutLauncher. Click on that file with your right mouse button and choose properties. There you find the TAB compatibillty and you can change it ..

still a bad idea to "Alt+Tab" out because i cant seem to get back to it and need to (Alt+Ctrl+del) close the game and start again but still great that this works.
