Can't click anything in Main Menu...

The game runs but i can't get passed the main menu, please help!

I was having the same problem with the black screen. If you go to you steam folder (default: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Fallout) you will find a file called f1_res_Config.exe. Run this and it will allow you to set the screen resolution without being in the game. Check the 'Windowed' option and save. Try running the game and see if that works for you. Thats what i did and at least i can play the game now.

There is also and executeable there for the 'Classic" version that does not have the HD patch. You can run that as well from this folder.

This worked. Weird how the opening splash screen lets you click the whole placard, but the main menu only lets you use the red button.

Either way, this solved my issue, and the game runs perfectly.

What's with clicking on the text? Back when I got this game in December 2013 I actually clicked those red buttons.
