How do i open the Pip-Boy?

I've played the newer fallout games, and i recently started playing the original. But i can't figure out how to open the pip-boy.

Click the pip button on the bottom right or press p. Press F1 for the hotkey help screen.

PipBoy is not the main function of the inventory system, it's like a archive log of game. In Pipboy u see quest objectives, files, hours in game, etc. Items is pressing "i" and stats "c"
