Why no achievements?

Because Valve/Steam does not go around adding achievements to games that they did not release themselves.

This isn't a remastered version, it's basically the original with some content removed, and a bit of censorship.

Yes, the censorship was a bit sad. It seems pretty lazy on that end. As for point being, why dilute a game. It seems they do it for everything else around here.

Because Valve doesn't own these games.

Owning has nothing to do with it. It's a contract decision made between Valve and the developers. If no major overhaul is done, it usually means no achievements. If a major overhaul of the game occurs, like in Baldur's Gate or Titan Quest, achievements are often integrated.

"He" = Beamdog and you were calling him lazy because he didn't add achievements to some old game which I thought was unnecesary.

Imo the game's better off without useless achievements like "left the vault", "found the water chip" and "joined the BoS".

Not calling anyone lazy. Just asked why no achievements. As for lazy achievements Daedric Brick, I get that. I am sure they could be creative on some.
