Save Game Location?

Hello there, fellow vault dweller. The save game location for Fallout 1 should be in: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Fallout\DATA\SAVEGAME.
Each save state has its own folder. SLOT01, for example, is the first save; SLOT02 the second and so on...

Thanks. I've been trying to edit my saves because of a few glitches, but every time I try on this PC none of my editors can locate the save. Is Windows 8.1 a problem?

Well, I'm not sure about editing save files but I have almost 150 hours on record, playing on Windows 8.1, and no issues so far.
