Tower 4 Podcast remake?

Am I the only one that thinks this looks and sounds exactly like a podcast called "Tower 4" on Spotify?
I listened to both seasons and these lines were literally in it word for word. Same male to female character set up as well.

The creators of Tower 4 have spoken about how this game directly influenced the creation of the audio drama, but they are not connected. I think it was in the season one or two recap.

No firewatch came first, I just saw the podcast and knew it was a remake of the game

It certainly started out exactly the same. I played Firewatch a few years ago and started listening to Tower 4 by chance. I knew I heard that story before. The podcast takes it much further though

From what I've heard so far, Tower 4 definitely is inspired by it, but seems to be made by people who actually have the capacity/ability to develop the ideas further.
Eager to get to the rest, I am at the end of season 1.

I've really been impressed with the story of Tower 4 and it's certainly inspired by Firewatch. To me, Tower 4 is much closer to the story that I thought I was uncovering in Firewatch.

Same here, I've been so impressed with their work. Felt like someone actually competent tackling this setting/idea.
