Bug - Day 2 / Cache 241 can't open
On day two following the track to the two teenage girls passing cache 241. If I try to open the Cache, the guy is just stepping back. Cach does not open / Lock code screen does not appear.

Is this a bug or is it intended not to be able to open that Cache at this time?

You can open some caches only a while after you find them, yes.

Thanks for the feedback.
This "just backstepping thing" is weird ... A "No access" notification would be nice or something like "You need another number code, ask {XY} for it" or so ...

This is one of the mechanics of the game that was not great.
I think and this is no reflection on you @Gnom, but modern games do spoonfeed us a lot more than they maybe need to. That said, it also caught me out that's why I remember this happening. And it's not the only place where the game is not that obvious. Take it easy don't try and step into the bushes and glitch through things, and you will be fine.

I think the backstepping is a bug. Try coming at it from another angle. I've had that issue a bit with other interactive things like blocked paths that need to be cut through when I've already got the ax.

Yeah, that's why I recall this being a pain to work out, the game never got really finished before the team got bought out, else I would imagine this would have been sorted. So many people, myself included struggled a bit with things like ropeing down the shale incline too.

Save and reload game worked for me.
