Was literally just about to buy this game when I saw Anita Sarkeesian in the credits

Yeah but I didn't know this until about 5 minutes ago when I was gonna buy it. People shouldn know Sarkeesian is in the credits. Many people would prefer knowing that before they buy. TBH it should be a disclaimer.

Your choice, me, I play games based soley on whether I feel they will be entertaining to me or not. I don't drag baggage in with me, mucks up the whole, you know, enjoyment thing.

Just replayed the game ending and Anita Sarkeesian's name never appears in the credit.

Would still like to know what she had to do with this. But yeah, personal feelings everyone! If someone decides not to buy this because she had something to do with it that's their choice (and I certainly wouldn't blame them).

We didn't remove her name. She's in the special thanks along with a bunch of other friends and family members. Her involvement in the game is simply that several of us know her and are friends and probably had some conversations about the game at some point in development that someone on the team found helpful and decided to express appreciation for.

I don't really see what difference it should make to anyone, but I'm aware that some people have extremely strong feelings about this for whatever reason. For the record I don't really care to have an argument about it, I just wanted to clarify what a special thanks section is for, at least in our case.

Um, what's the deal with someone named Anita Sarkeesian, and why would her presence in the development of a video game be an issue? Could someone explain, please? Thanks!

You can Google her but basically she's a feminazi that likes to lie and make stuff up in order to validate her views despite the examples she uses being completely fabricated or taken completely out of context.

In other words, she fights for militant feminism all while lying and cheating to make herself more known and to push her unfair and unequal agenda.

You can read more about her online and I would say you should do so as she would like the entire video game industry change if she could.

I'm sure I'll be banned again for talking so poorly about the developers "friend" but I don't care. People like her should not be justified or thanked for anything. I don't even understand why someone would want to be friends with such a fraud that wants to do so much damage to the gaming world despite her clearly not really being a part of it...but hey...that's just me.
